Ed4U, LLC is an Arkansas company. Its predecessor, Advanced Communications Engineering, Inc. (ACE), was mainly operated from Redondo Beach, California.
Ed4U's primary mission is the creation of new innovtive products for business, individual, and education markets. It's flagship product, iQPresenter, provides a complete set of presentation tools and innovative features which are not found in any other product on the market. iQPrompter is the first of many products planned for iPhone/iPad.
Ed4U is also working with other entities to bring widespread distribution of inexpensive high-quality-content educational courses to the entire country and eventually the world.

G. Apple is the founder and owner of Ed4U, LLC. After receiving his BSEE at the University of Arkansas and while completing his PhD at Purdue University (on an NSF Fellowship) and working on a NASA research contract, he designed and led a team to build the first transform codec, predecessor to the codecs that make today's digital TV systems possible. At Bell Labs, he was one of the designers of the first inter-frame video codec, resulting in several patents. At North Electric he headed a group that developed transmission and synchronization systems for one of the first digital telephone switching systems, also resulting in several patents.
At TRW, Dr. Apple was a Systems Engineer and Project Manager on several satellites programs, modems, and data compression systems for NASA, DOD, NSA, and on the Space Shuttle's Primary Communications System. He did the first design ever done for a digital broadcast system (CBS Television). He was Assistant Program Manager for digital signal processing terminals for MILSTAR satellites.
Dr. Apple has been active in component software development and has published papers and given many presentations on the application of such to digital broadcasting, especially for education. He has written over a hundred concept and promotional papers including for two U.S. Presidents, Congressional Committees, U.S. Dept. of Education, U.S. Dept. of Commerce, NASA, DARPA, and others. He was a reviewer for US DoEd on the Star Schools Program. He was co-founder and head of the Developer's SIG of the Los Angeles Macintosh Group where he served as a director. He developed technology for Mayo Clinic's CD-ROM educational series.
Dr. Apple also designed the first integrated digital broadcast system (for ACC), which formed the technology basis of the Foundation for Educational Advancement Today (FEAT), headed by the Hon. Wilbur D. Mills. He may have been the first person to propose and promote using personal computers for large-scale distance learning (DoEd Star Schools proposal, 1988). He has spent many years developing educational technologies that make the Ed4U® system possible. He has also developed smart-phone applications and is intimately familiar with the relevant technologies and tools required.

Ms. Ridge received her B.A. Degree from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas in Marketing/Communication Arts and Business Administration and has a Masters Degree in Business Marketing/Technology. Ms. Ridge began her career at IBM Corporation at their National Marketing Training Center in Dallas, Texas where she earned the position of Advertising Manager developing marketing campaigns strategies for IBM's sales organization. Ms. Ridge has extensive experience as a CEO of a technology company and an entrepreneur, and through her lead, her company was successfully awarded licensing agreements with leading Fortune 500 companies.
Ms. Ridge has been involved in long-term technology innovation, including ideation, strategic visioning and strategy, building business case and P & L, corporate strategy development, as well as product and packaging innovation. Ms. Ridge has extensive knowledge of new product development, understanding of business finance and product costing methods. Ms. Ridge was awarded Who's Who of Missouri and Business Woman of the Year. She is published in American Demographic Magazine.
